Places to Visit This Fall

North Carolina is lucky to experience all 4 seasons, and for most, Fall might be the most favorite season of them all.  When the trees become the most beautiful color palette of reds, oranges, and yellows, signaling that Fall has officially arrived.  Here are some of our favorite places in North Carolina to visit this time of year.

 

  1.  Asheville.  You knew we had to include Asheville on our list. Asheville is home to the amazing Biltmore Estate, and the Biltmore is the perfect place to experience spectacular autumn color.
  2. Blue Ridge Parkway. The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of America’s most scenic drives.
  3. Chimney Rock State Park. Chimney Rock is a nature lovers paradise.  With breathtaking views and incredible hiking trails, this state park is the perfect place to visit this time of year.
  4. Little Switzerland.  This charming mountain town provides amazing views and a Swiss inspired village.
  5. Hendersonville.  Nothing says fall like apples, fresh cider, and warm doughnuts.  This town is filled with orchards and classic autumn activities.
