This weekend kicks off the most festive weekend of the year! From tree lightings to Christmas Parades, here is some of our favorite Christmas events that you will not want to miss this year!
This Friday in Downtown Concord:
The 27th Annual TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY presented by Eli Lilly on Friday, November 22 from 6-8:30 p.m. in Downtown Concord NC.
There will be food trucks, a kids’ zone sponsored by Uwharrie Bank, Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Courthouse Plaza sponsored by Kinetic by Windstream, and fireworks to end the celebration.
Music and dance performances on the main stage also start at 6 p.m.
The tree lighting is at 8pm at Courthouse Plaza, followed by fireworks at 8:20 p.m. The fireworks are best viewed from Bicentennial Lot.

This Saturday in Downtown Concord:
The Truecare Pharmacy 96th CONCORD CHRISTMAS PARADE is on Saturday, Nov. 23rd at 2:30 p.m.
Enjoying the parade from the picturesque sidewalks of North Union Street in historic downtown is a beloved community tradition. Following adjustments to the parade route last year due to streetscape construction, the 96th Concord Christmas Parade will officially return to Union Street!
Saturday November 30th, come support Small Business Saturday in Downtown Concord!

Hop on the trolley to shop the Cabarrus Brewing Company Holiday Market at Gibson Mill and make a stop at Southern Strain Brewing Company for shopping and Small Business Saturday specials!
