Main Bathroom Trends in 2024

Main Bathroom Trends in 2024

Function is not the only focus for the Main Bathroom design this year.  More designers are using this space to showcase a homeowner’s personality while placing a big emphasis on overall wellness.  We are also seeing more trends from the past, like the tub, coming back.

Here are 7 main bath design trends to be on the lookout for this year.

  1.  The tub.  We are seeing more and more homeowners adding the bathtub back into their new bathroom design.  And we get it, there is nothing more relaxing than a nice long soak in your tub. The addition of the bathtub also ties in perfectly with the emphasis on wellness.

2.  Separate vanities and sinks.  More homeowners wanting tubs, means more opportunity to add our second bathroom design trend, separate vanities and sinks.

3.  Brass or gold finishes.  Just like we are seeing in kitchen designs, brass and gold hardware are back in style.

4.  Aging in place design.  Seamless showers, zero step entry, grab bars, large bench seats, these are all great additions to any bathroom design, especially if you plan to stay in your home for the foreseeable future.

5.  Patterned flooring and wall designs.  Geometric shapes and patterns are big this year.  From octogen shaped tile to chevron and herringbone patterns, this design trend adds a fun twist to your normal square design.

6.  Playful wallpaper.  The bathroom is always the perfect spot to let your personality shine.  From bold color choices to fun patterns and prints, adding wallpaper to this space will make a big impact.

7.  Stacked subway tile.  Instead of the traditional brick lay, stack your subway tile vertically.
