Outdoor Living Spaces to use this Fall

Outdoor living spaces can be used year round, but there is something about Fall weather that makes outdoor entertaining even better.  The air is cool and crisp but not too cold to be outside, making it the perfect time to enjoy your outdoor entertaining areas.  Here is a list of what we consider outdoor entertaining necessities for the Fall.

A fire pit.  Roasting s’mores over an open flame or sipping on hot cocoa wrapped up in a blanket by the fire,  it is easy to see why fire pits are one of the top outdoor entertaining features.

Plenty of outdoor seating.  Of course with a fire pit comes the need for good outdoor seating. From a built-in stone bench to Adirondack chairs having a comfortable place for you and your guests to relax is top priority.

Gas fire pits.  No mess and no fuss with a gas fire pit.  Although you won’t be enjoying the wonderful smell and crackling sound of a real fire, gas fire pits do have some pretty neat designs.  Wood Land Direct has some great gas fire pits, and the image featured below is one that they offer.

A covered porch.  Having a covered outdoor area is always a great idea, because you never know what the weather might decide to do.  From gazebo’s to screened-in back porches, having a roof over your head will help ensure you have a space to use year-round.  You can also add a fireplace on your covered patio like we recently did in our Dunhill Model Home at Bedford Farms.
