Once you’ve selected a Niblock home and have entrusted us with building it, our committed team will work tirelessly to ensure the entire experience is a pleasant one. We have the staff and systems in place to make the complex task of building your home go as smoothly as possible.
We have developed a guide to Niblock’s new home design and construction process. It gives an overall understanding of how each phase of the process works together as well as specific information on what takes place during each step. Knowing the process helps set realistic expectations and will allow you to more fully enjoy this exciting undertaking!
- Designing Your Home and Preparing to Build. Includes mortgage loan approval (certain loans can be obtained for as little as 5% down), décor selections and plan approval 2-4 weeks.
- Finalize building documents and obtain permits. Includes finalizing blueprints, estimating the home and obtaining the building permit 6-8 weeks.
- Construction Begins. A plan presentation is held with the Field Manager to review all the details of the home, once complete the home construction can begin 21-25 weeks.
- Closing and Move-In. Includes a warranty check-up and getting settled into your growing community.
