Our favorite places to get your Christmas tree this year

Thanksgiving has passed meaning it is officially time to start spreading Christmas cheer!  The traditions that families create around this holiday are what make Christmas so special, and finding the perfect Christmas Tree is probably one of the most common traditions.  Some families use an artificial tree, some families travel hours to the mountains to cut down their own, and others go to local vendors to select their own pre-cut tree.  Here is our pick for the top 5 places (without driving to the mountains) to get your Christmas tree this year!

Kiser’s Christmas Trees

Located in Concord right off of HWY 49, you will find Kiser’s Christmas Trees.  This tree farm is rated 5 stars for having the best looking trees and for having one cute accessories shop.  There you will find wreaths, tree trimmings, window and mailbox swags, and table top decor.

Spring Water Farms

Located in Huntersville is Spring Water Farms.  This cute tree stand offers Frazier Fir Christmas Trees ready to take home and enjoy.  You can also enjoy free cider and popcorn.  They also have fresh wreaths, swags, bows, tree stands, and much more!

Pinetop Farm

Located in Salisbury is Pinetop Farm.  This is a choose and cut Christmas Tree Farm! They provide a bow saw and hayrides to and from the field for you to pick your special tree. They also offer Premium Fraser Fir pre-cut trees.  Free hayrides and family photo sessions are available as well!

Almond Christmas Tree Farm

Located in Albermarle is Almond Christmas Tree Farms.  This is also a choose and cut Christmas Tree Farm with the option of purchasing a pre-cut tree as well.  This farm is also a huge blueberry farm and offers award winning BBQ sauces, honey, and herbs!

The Hunter Farm

Located in Weddington is The Hunter Farm.  Don’t miss the enchantment of an old fashioned Christmas down on the farm.  Take a horse drawn carriage ride pulled by their team of Clydsdales, visit Santa at the North Pole,  and warm-up around the fire with a hot beverage while children pick the perfect Christmas tree.  Visit Santa’s workshop where kids can make crafts and join the caroling. Most of all, relax and enjoy being together as a family during this special time of year.
