Natural Cleaning Products

You don’t need to spend a fortune on chemical-heavy products in order to keep your home clean.  Look in your pantry and refrigerator and you’ll likely find everything you need to clean, disinfect, shine, and deodorize your entire home.  For example, you can use expired milk to clean and shine back splashes, counter tops, and butcher blocks.  Sounds gross right?  But it really works!  Milk’s acid fights dirt and grime, plus it will leave your surfaces feeling moisturized and lustrous.  You can find the full article here.

Baking soda is also another great household item  that works as a natural cleaner.  Mix it with a little water and you have the perfect produce cleaner!  Or pour the baking soda down your garbage disposal then wait 10 minutes and add 1/2 cup of white wine vinegar.  Rinse with warm water 15 minutes later for a fresh and clean disposal!

Vinegar and water is the best way to clean your bathroom.  It is effective and the easiest way to remove soap scum, and it will inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and some bacteria!
