Fall Fun 2019!
It might feel like Summer, but Fall will be here in just a few short weeks! There is so much to look forward to with a new season: cooler temps, new fun outdoor activities, Halloween, and much more. Each year we love to compile a list of top Fall activities near us! So here is our 2019 Fall Fun list!
Apple Picking: Now is the time that many farms open for apple picking! Many farms offer more than just the experience of picking your own fruit. Hayrides, petting zoos, and even corn mazes are offered at most apple picking orchards. Here is a list of our favorite farms to visit for apple picking:

The Cabarrus County Fair: Going on now until September 14th is the Cabarrus County Fair! Located at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center, the fair is the perfect spot to experience rides, food, entertainment, friendly competitions, a petting zoo and fun!
The Great Pumpkin Fest: Filled with everything that makes fall a cheerful time of year and just enough spooky fun for little ghosts and goblins, Carowinds puts the “WEE!” in kids’ Halloween events with our Great Pumpkin Fest. Now bigger and better than ever – and always free with admission!
Festival in the Park: From September 20-22, enjoy music, food, vendors, talented artists and a relaxed atmosphere in Freedom Park.
Carolina Renaissance Festival: From October 5th – November 24th (Saturdays and Sundays), you can experience history coming alive with non-stop, day long entertainments, arts and crafts, games and rides, jousting knights on horseback, feasting and so much more!
Carolina Balloon Fest: October 18th – 20th in Statesville, NC is the Carolina Balloon Fest! The balloon fest offers live entertainment, special shaped giant balloons, tethered balloon rides, a kids zone, wine and craft beer tasting, and an evening balloon glow.
Pumpkin Patches: It wouldn’t feel like Fall without a trip to the pumpkin patch! There are several great Pumpkin farms to visit near us. Here are some of our favorite ones:
