A Place for Your Family to Gather, The Kitchen

Floor plans have changed significantly from what they were 10 years ago.  Today’s home owners want an open flowing home with sight lines throughout the home. No more individual rooms blocked off by unnecessary walls.  The main focal point in many homes has also become the kitchen.

Many families are constantly on-the-go.  With after school activities, ball games, etc., sitting down for every meal just isn’t feasible.  That is why the kitchen island is a very important aspect of any new kitchen.  You can always use bar stool seating.

Storage and counter space is also a huge part of any kitchen.  You need the space to prep meals and the cabinet space to store every day kitchen items.  Plus you always can that extra counter space for kids to do their homework.

A breakfast area large enough to fit a dining table.  Think about how often you use your Formal Dining Room table?  Probably not that often, but a breakfast room table, you might use everyday.
