Monthly Home Maintenance

It is hard to believe that April is only a few short days away from being over.  This month has been filled with rain, rain, and more rain, but with April shower comes May flowers! Before we say goodbye to this rainy month, here are a few home maintenance reminders:

*Test your carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.

*Run water and flush toilets in unused spaces

*Remove leaves and debris from gutters and spouts

*Check water softener, add salt if needed

*Clear dead plants/shrubs from the house

*Clean garbage disposal (crushed ice, baking soda, and citrus rinds work great)

*Clean out window wells of debris
