Easy Ideas to Brighten Up Your New Home for Spring
Spring is coming!
Nothing excites us more than a good home refresh with Spring like decor. It can be fairly easy to get your home in the Spring spirit, but in case your need some inspiration, here are 5 easy (and cheap) ways that you can add some Spring cheer into your home today!
Freshen up your Powder Room. Swap out those dark winter-like towels for some fresh new ones! Think color, patterns, or even clean crisp white towels. Something as simple as a new hand towel will help make that space feel more spring like. New hand soap with a floral scent, a candle, or even a fake plant on the back of our toilet are all easy ways to add a pop of spring into this space. Plants. If keeping real plants alive is not your strong suit, then we say fake it till you make it. Marshalls, Homegoods, Target or even Amazon have a great selection of fake plants, succulents in particular. Add these cute little plants around your home and it will instantly lift your spirits. Update your candles. It’s time to retire the dark candles and holiday smells for fresh scents and floral hints. Or if essential oils are more your style, update your selection of scents with a variety of different spring like smells. You can never go wrong with the Capri Blue volcano scent; we found this one on Amazon.
Doormats. Trade in your old doormat for a new one! They are so many cute designs, from the fun Hello phrase to a floral print. There are several designs on Amazon that have recently caught our eye. Also don’t forget layering your doormat is another way to add color and flare.
Swap out your kitchen table decor. Trade in your table runner for a new one. Polka dots, pastels, even a white or cream runner would look great. With Easter being so early this year, March 31st to be exact, now would be a great time to start setting out some Easter decor. Hobby Lobby is always a great place to go for seasonal decor.
