Our process begins with reserving your home by signing a purchase agreement.This formal document secures your selected lot and floor plan, and outlines the terms of your new home purchase—including things like base price and key builder policies. At this stage, you’ll also submit your deposit, which confirms your commitment and allows us to take your home site off the market. Once signed, we move forward together with next steps like customizing your finishes and preparing for construction.

The journey to your new home typically takes between 7 to 12 months from design to completion.Throughout this time, your home will progress through several important phases, from permitting and foundation to framing, finishes, and final inspections. While we do our best to keep things moving smoothly, certain factors—such as weather conditions, material availability, or county inspections—may occasionally impact the timeline. Rest assured, our priority is delivering your home with the craftsmanship and care we’re known for—on schedule, and built to last.


Our expert design consultants make the process fun and stress-free—guiding you through every choice, from cabinets to countertops. Whether your style is bold and modern or warm and classic, we’ll help bring your vision to life with a cohesive look that feels personal, polished, and perfectly you.

Your Plan Presentation Meeting is an exciting milestone in your homebuilding journey. During this meeting, you’ll sit down with your dedicated Project Manager to review the details of your home, confirm your design selections, and align on expectations for the construction timeline. It’s our way of making sure everyone is on the same page and fully prepared before we break ground—setting the stage for a smooth and successful build.


The Final Walkthrough—what we call your Home Orientation—is one of the final phases to your new home journey. During this guided tour of your completed home, we'll demonstrate how your home’s key systems work—like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances—while sharing important maintenance tips and warranty information. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident, informed, and truly at home before you even move in.

Yes, we offer a one-year workmanship warranty and a scheduled follow-up at 10 months post closing. We also offer a 2-10 Home Warranty that protects you from mechanical and structural issues. Our team is committed to supporting homeowners even after move-in, ensuring continued satisfaction.

As a new build customer, you’ll enjoy two in-person Design Studio appointments with our expert design consultants—your partners in personalizing every detail of your home. These appointments typically last 3-4 hours each. You will explore everything from cabinetry and countertops to flooring, fixtures, and appliances. These sessions are all about bringing your vision to life and creating a space that feels uniquely yours.

It’s your home, and it should feel that way from the moment you walk in.


Our model homes are a true reflection of the exceptional materials and finishes we offer. They’re thoughtfully designed to inspire and give you a firsthand look at the quality, craftsmanship, and design possibilities available when you build with us. 

Occasionally, some products featured in our model homes may be discontinued by the manufacturer. When this happens, rest assured—we carefully source comparable alternatives that match the style, quality, and performance of the original selections. 


Move-In Ready Homes are ideal for buyers who want the quality and beauty of a new construction home—without waiting through the entire construction and design process.The finishes in these homes are carefully selected by our expert design consultants to reflect today’s most popular styles.

Absolutely! Niblock specializes in semi-custom homes. Simply choose from our vast selection of floor plans, library of optional ideas, and home styles; then, if you like, our plan designers will work with you to customize that plan to suit your family’s individual needs. We’ll even build you a one-of-a-kind home designed by your architect or our architectural staff.


Absolutely. However, Niblock contributes towards closing costs if one of its preferred lenders is used.
