Spring Break!

Can you believe spring break is right around the corner?  If you’d like to get away with your family but don’t want to spend a lot of money there are plenty of day trips you can take close to home.

The Biltmore in Asheville, NC is just a short 3 hour drive.  There are tons of things to do on the grounds, from tours to dining and outdoor activities, it is a fun time for the entire family.

Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock, NC is another fun event for the entire family.  Tweetsie Railroad allows children and families to let their imaginations run wild and discover all sorts of fun. Kids can be a cowboy… an Indian… or an engineer. And grown-ups can simply be kids all over again. Theres rides, live shows, a deer park habitat, and you even get to hop aboard a historic coal powered steam locomotive.

The Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia, SC is filled with activities to keep your kids entertained all day long.  There are pony rides, an area to feed the giraffes, rock climbing, and of course over 7 different adventure tours you can go on.  You can easily make an entire weekend out of it!

The North Carolina Zoo located in Asheboro, NC is another great zoo to visit.  Here your family can learn about saving species, habitat conservation, animal welfare, and what you can do to help!

The Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, GA is an entertaining, intriguing and educational experience for guests of all ages.
