How To Spruce Up Your Porch For Spring

Now that the temperatures are rising, and our flowers will survive outside, lets talk about how to spruce up your front (or back) porch this season!

You want your home to feel welcoming, not only to guests but to Spring as well!  There are so many different ways you can decorate your porch, from flower garlands on the front door to potted plants and bright colored furniture.  Here are some of our favorite ways to add some color and cheer to your porch this year!

 Lanterns are very popular!  Sit a candle inside for added light at night, or just for decoration.  We love the simplicity of the flowers as well.  Just grab a tall basket and trim some limbs off your tree in the yard for some added color!

 Add a colorful rug!  You don’t have to spend a ton of money on this, and since it is on the front porch you probably won’t need to buy anything extremely large.

 Decorate with chalkboard art!  This is a great idea for the individual who likes to change it up every few days!  Adding some flowers to the top of the board is another great spring touch!

Add some decorative throw pillows to your rocking chairs.  I love pin striped pillows against solid colors! The pops of color from the pillows are the perfect spring touch, and light fixtures make your porch feel like it is actually a part of the inside of the home.
