Getting Your Patio Ready for Summer
After yesterday’s heat wave, we reached almost 90 degrees, we think that it is safe to say that the cold weather is finally behind us! Now we can look forward to backyard BBQ’s, hanging out with friends, and porch sitting. If your patio or deck looks anything like mine, then it could use some TLC after the long winter months. Take a look at your patio furniture. Does it need to be replaced or refurbished? If your furniture is metal or wood consider giving it a fresh coat of paint. If your furniture is plastic, a mild solution of bleach and soapy water can rid it of grime and mold.

Cushions and pillows are a great and inexpensive way to update furniture as well. You can stay all white or have fun with colors and prints.
Add end tables in place of a coffee table if space is tight. Colorful ceramic garden stools make wonderful end tables.
