It’s that time of year again, back to school time. One frequent question that our Sales Agents always get asked when first meeting a potential home buyer is, “What school district are you in?” So to make life easier for our home buyers, we have compiled a complete list for each of our communities with their school district, their elementary, middle, and high schools.
Weddington Hills is the elementary school for the community, and is located less than 2 miles away from the neighborhood! Weddington Hills Elementary is an IB World School which offers the Primary Years Programme. This means the school is focused on inquiry learning, language study, and taking action through service. After elementary school, students will go to Northwest Cabarrus Middle School and then on to Northwest Cabarrus High School. Both are located less than 5 miles from the neighborhood.
WM Irvin Elementary School is the elementary school for Bedford Farms students, and is located less than 5 miles from the neighborhood. At Irvin Elementary, each classroom and learning area contains a Smart Interactive Whiteboard, Elmo document camera, sound system, and two or more iMac desktop computers. Mt. Pleasant Middle School is located only 6 miles from the community, and Mt. Pleasant High School is less than 5 miles.
Patriots Elementary School is where residents of our Harrisburg community, Kensington Forest, will attend. Patriots Elementary is a STEM school (Stem is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and is located only 4.6 miles from the neighborhood. Located less than 3 miles away are both Hickory Ridge Middle School and Hickory Ridge High School.
Mooresville Graded School District:
Rocky River Elementary is where students will attend Kindergarten thru the 3rd grade. The school has a history of strong academic performance being named a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence multiple times. As part of the MGSD Digital Conversion, all third grade students have a MacBook for their use and all Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms have MacBooks and iPads on carts. For 4th-6th grade students will attend Mooresville Intermediate School. For 7th and 8th grade students will attend Mooresville Middle School which is located directly across from Ashlyn Creek! There all students are provided a MacBook Air to use 24/7 throughout the school year. Mooresville High School has the 2nd highest graduation rate in the state, and is located just over 2 miles from the community.

Catawba Springs Elementary is where students will attend elementary school up to 5th grade and is located only 4 miles from The Gates! East Lincoln Middle School is only 8.5 from the neighborhood and East Lincoln High School is only 4 miles away!
