4 Steps to Help Better Prepare You for Buying a New Home

Building a new home can be intimidating, and we often find that first time home buyers might not know where to even start.  From the beginning of your new home journey until even after you have closed on your new home, our team will be there to help you every step of the way.  So to get you started on your new home journey, here are 4 steps that will help better prepare you for buying a new home.

Our website is a great place to begin.

Visiting our website gives you the ability to look at available inventory homes, view our communities and where we build, allows you to see our library of floor plans and you have  access to our portfolio of homes, and most importantly when you visit our website, you get to talk to Annie.  Annie is our New Homes Specialists, and she has been apart of the Niblock Homes team since the beginning.  Have a question about a floor plan, Ask Annie.  Have a question about our communities, Ask Annie.  Want to know more about Niblock Homes as a builder, Ask Annie.

Meet with one of our Preferred Lenders.

Meeting with a lender is a critical first step in your home buying journey.  Knowing how much house you can actually afford is always a great starting point.  There is no reason to get your hopes up and fall in love with a home that you just can’t afford, meeting with a lender beforehand will help keep your expectations in check.  It is also important to figure out how much you are actually comfortable spending.  There is a big difference in how much you could afford, and how much you actually want to spend.

Meet with our Sales Agents.

Our Sales Agents are there to point you in the right direction.  From what floor plan would best fit the home that you have described to them, to what custom features might be a good fit for your home, to even arranging a home for you to tour of that floor plan that you like.  Our Sales Agents will be there with you to the very end!

Design Studio preview.

Previewing our Design Studio is a great way for you to learn more about our homes and the materials/vendors that we have partnered with.  Previews are meant to be used as a time for the customer to come in and get an idea of all that we have to offer.  Hopefully after leaving a Design Preview, you will have a better sense of what is at the top of  your new home want list.
